Arrival - Hanoi (D)
Hanoi City Tour. On arrival
at Noi Bai Airport, you are met and transferred to a mini hotel in Hanoi
for rest. free and easy time untill 14.00. We visit temple of Littterarure,
visit Old quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake. Water pupet show and have a light dinner
with special of Hanoi: Cha Ca La Vong ( Fish and vermicel). Go to Hanoi train
station for night train to Sapa. Deluxe cabin sharing 4 berths: Sapaly train, Faxipan train or similar.
31st July: Hanoi
– Sa Pa – Love Waterfall (B, L)
Arrive Lao Cai you will
meet guide and driver then drive uphill to Sa Pa. Go to hotel for freshen up
and breakfast at local restaurant. A 40 minute drive takes you to Tram Ton Pass
at the height of 2047meters above sea level (the highest pass in Vietnam) where
great views are offered of the surrounding mountains and lush forests of
theHoang Lien National Park. From there you will trek 30 minutes through
forest. Along the way you have many chances to see wild flowers. Trekking along
the stream you will arrive the Love Waterfall . It is the best place for relax
in Sa Pa then return Tram Ton and drive back to Sa Pa. In the afternoon, you are free to discover
Sapa town.
1st Aug: Muong Hoa
Valley (B, L)
You will visit Muong Hoa
valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in northwest Viet Nam. Descending
into the valley by foot you will see the largest terraced rice paddy in the Sa
Pa area (If you visit the valley between May and October, there is a chance to
experience and observe how the locals plant and harvest rice). The walk takes you from Lao
Chai village of the Black H‘mong minority to Ta Van village of the Zay
minority, providing the opportunity to see the different traditions and
costumes of the two ethnic minority groups. Return to Sa Pa by car. Overnight
in Sa Pa. Afternoon take night train
back to Hanoi. Deluxe cabin sharing 4 berths: Sapaly train, Faxipan train or
similar.
2nd Aug: Hano –
Halong Bay One Day (B, L)
5.00AM: Pick you up at
train station, go to visit night flower market, Long Bien Briged, Hoan Kiem
lake. Brakfast at local restaurant as Pho ( noudle soup). En route, you will
pass fields of busy workers farming their rice fields using traditional methods
of cultivation. Arrive in Halong Bay at around 12:00PM. Get on your private boat. Lunch with sea food
is served on boat while cruising around this magnificent bay and among
thousands of islands that jut out of the sea with its spectacular natural
environment. You will visit Dong Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Grotto), located
on a remote island in the bay. We continue to cruise to the southern to visit
floating village, fish farms, Fighting Cocks islets, Human Head islet, and Duck
islet. Cruise back to the wharf. Rejoin car/bus back to Hanoi. Drop you off at
your hotel at around 7:30 PM.
3rd Aug: Hanoi –
Danang – Hoi An tour (B, L
Breakfast at hotel then
transfer to airport for flight to Danang. The next stop of our trip is Da Nang
which is famous for the Cham Museum. After seeing this sight we continue to the
My Khe Beach and the Marble Mountain, whose peaks represent the five elements
of the universe. O/N in Hoi An.
4th Aug: Hoi An –
Tra Que Village Tour (B, L)
At 9am, ride a bicycle to a
local farm in Tra Que Village. Introduction to the history of the village, the
cultivation of the vegetables as well as discovering the use of vegetables in
traditional Vietnamese medicine.
You will take a trip around
the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing
it with seaweed from the local lake. Continue doing activities such as: raking,
sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities.
Then spend the rest of the morning working the land in the time honoured way
before break to prepare lunch with a local family. Your lunch will consist of
many local delicacies including ‘tam huu' spring roll, Banh xeo or the local
pancake of the people from the middle region. After lunch and the exertions of the morning, take an even more
traditional Vietnamese post-prandial nap before learning how to harvest and
wrap the vegetables. Around 15.00, bid farewell
to your host family before riding back to Hoi An, Got flight to Ho Chi Minh.

5th Aug: Hoi An – Da
Nang – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Morning: A city tour takes us in the Reunification
Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until
end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some French colonial structures
including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. and the War
Remnant. Afterwards we continue to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were an
incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the
long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus
accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in
the American war. O/N in Ho Chi Minh.
6th Aug : Ho Chi
Minh City - Mekong Delta (B, L)
Travel Mekong Delta -
VietNam Tour. We travel by roads to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam's largest rice
bowl. On arrival in My Tho we embark on a boat navigating around the intricate
small canals in the delta region, which is a great way to observe the local
lifestyle close-up. This thrilling excursion will pass the lush green
vegetation before arriving on an island. Here we have opportunities to visit
some fascinating local industries, stroll around an orchard and taste many
seasonal fruits. After feasting on a huge lunch we return to Ho Chi Minh,
stopping off along the way to see the beautiful Ving Trang Pagoda and the Cho
Lon, Saigon's Chinatown, which is crammed with fascinating temples and
mysterious, narrow lanes. O/N in Ho Chi Minh.
7th Aug: Ho Chi
Minh City – Siem Reap (B, L) VN3819: 8.20 – 9.40
An
early morning transfer to airport for short flight to Siem Reap. This town is
our base for exploring the world famous temples of the ancient city Angkor,
which was the capital of the powerful Khmer Empire from 802 AD to 1350 AD.
After checking into hotel, we drive to the archeological area to visit the
South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human
faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure,
Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of Leper King. The largest as
well as most complete structure of Angkor Wat is not to be missed. We stroll
around this massive monument, exploring the many galleries with columns,
libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering
temple. O/N in Siem Reap.
8th Aug: Siem
Reap - Angkor Temples (B, L)
The
jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous
fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone
foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being
reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. Transfer to Siem Reap Airport for
departure.
